Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest savannah park, located about 4–5 hours from Kampala in western Uganda. Despite its size, it offers diverse landscapes of rolling hills, acacia woodland, wetlands, and five scenic lakes.
The park is famous for large herds of zebras, impalas, and eland, as well as buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, and over 350 bird species. Unlike most Ugandan parks, it has no elephants, making it ideal for walking safaris, horseback riding, cycling, boat cruises, and night game drives.
